Congratulations and welcome to Eastern Carolina Educational Assistance Centre, A Division of DELORGE INTERNATIONAL Learning Systems, Inc. of North Carolina. Eastern Carolina Educational Assistance Centre is a private, full-service educational consultant firm and a teacher/parent educational product store specializing in meeting the educational and career guidance needs of students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the general public. DeLorge International is also home of DeLorge International University Centre/School of Professional Studies and Applied Research in Adult & Teacher Education, a corporate research, training and development consulting firm.  We are also a supplemental education provider for accredited adult high school and university degree programs for undergraduate and graduate students.

DELORGE INTERNATIONAL Learning Systems was established by Dr. Gerold H. Jarmon on June 19,1993 in Raleigh, North Carolina to supplement the educational needs of children and adults entering public and private K-12 schools, colleges, graduate schools, and adult professional education programs.  Eastern Carolina Educational Assistance Centre, A Division of DeLorge International Learning Systems, was also established earlier in June 1988 by  Dr. Jarmon who currently serves as Executive Director and Dean of  the School of Continuing Professional Studies at DeLorge International University Centre.  He has served as a visiting  adjunct Assistant. Professor of Education at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina and adjunct Associate Professor of Education at Central Michigan University.   He holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; a Master's of Science degree from North Carolina A. & T. State University; Educational Administration and Supervision certification from East Carolina University; and a doctorate in adult education with concentrations in adult continuing professional education and higher education administration/supervision from North Carolina State University. Dr. Jarmon has served as a middle school classroom teacher, high school assistant principal, elementary principal, and university professor in the State of North Carolina.
